The poems, in this illustrated collection,
are simple in their construction and profound in their message. They
cover topics dealing with family, philosophy and spiritual growth.
Oft times they are thought provoking and sometimes provide spiritual
insight, evoking an emotional response from the reader. Each poem is
accompanied by a simple line drawing that enables the reader to view
the poem from another perspective. Looking not just between the lines
but beyond the words.
From the introduction George writes,
"Like minds understand the truth that
is hidden behind the veil of images. Sometimes these images bear
fruit in printed form."
The first section, "Sharing Lives" relates to sharing ourselves, with
those closest in our daily lives. The first poem, entitled 'a new
life', begins this section.
